Ioannis A. Kaloidis

Attorney Ioannis (John) Kaloidis was admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut on November 4, 2002. He is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law where he earned a Juris Doctor and graduated Cum Laude in 2002. While at the University of Miami, he worked as an intern at the Miami Dade Public Defender’s office.

He is a 1999 graduate of The George Washington University in Washington, DC where he earned a Bachelor’s of Art in Political Science. In 1995 he graduated from The Gunnery preparatory school in Washington, Connecticut.

Immediately after law school, Attorney Kaloidis began working at a prominent Waterbury, Connecticut law firm under the direction of Attorney Timothy C. Moynahan. During his time there he worked on a variety of cases including personal injury litigation, criminal defense litigation, worker’s compensation, civil litigation and real estate transactions. Attorney Kaloidis second chaired a number of criminal trials including several murder, manslaughter, and sexual assault trials. He gained valuable experience which made him the aggressive, compassionate and effective attorney he is today.

Attorney Kaloidis has now established himself as an aggressive and well-qualified criminal defense attorney who is not afraid to take on tough cases.  He has successfully defended many people accused of extremely serious crimes and has proven himself to be an effective litigator.  His approach to all his cases involves countless hours of preparation, analysis, and research.  Attorney Kaloidis cares about his clients and their cases; his devotion to them is unquestioned, and it shows.
